Jefferson Unitarian Church, 14350 W 32nd Ave Room R/7· Golden. How to find us: We will be meeting in the Main Building. Park on the front side and enter the front main doors.
(Note, We are changing the day and location of the JH movie night, it will now be second friday of the month and in the main building at JUC in room R/7) Please join us for our monthly JH Movie Night, where we’ll be showing Boy Erased and have open discussion afterwards. (rated R, run time 1 hour 55 minutes). Doors open at 6:45 and the movie starts right at 6:55. Popcorn, snacks, and drinks will be served. donation’s are accepted. You are welcome to bring a comfy chair or cushion. Please note that we will be meeting in the main building.

Movie Description:
Jared Eamons, the son of a small-town Baptist pastor, must overcome the fallout after being outed as gay to his parents. His father and mother struggle to reconcile their love for their son with their beliefs. Fearing a loss of family, friends and community, Jared is pressured into attending a conversion therapy program. While there, Jared comes into conflict with its leader and begins his journey to finding his own voice and accepting his true self.
