In November, we will enjoy one of the many films being presented during the 2019 Denver Film Festival. Come enjoy a showing of The Infiltrators, a 95 minute experimental documentary that tells about the Broward Transitional Center, a shadowy, Florida, for-profit ICE detention facility that houses undocumented immigrants for months—and sometimes years—without due process. During a time when immigrant families are being separated, this documentary will provide a better understanding of the hardships faced by immigrants and political refugees who seek to restart their lives in the United States, and find a place less welcome than they had hoped.

Each month, we will enjoy a local cultural, arts or science event with our fellow humanists.
