JEFFERSON HUMANISTS’ DEATH CAFE
MEETING THE FIRST SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH
Welcome to our Death Cafe—a thoughtful space where we explore all aspect of the death and dying experience together. Sharing our experiences enriches our understanding and eases our uncertainties. Whether you prefer to speak or listen, everyone is welcome and your presence matters in this confidential gathering of gentle spirits and curious minds.
Our Death Café is hosted by Linda Sollars and Karen Keeran. Linda is a professor and career counselor who seeks to open the discussion and recognition of death and dying. Karen Keeran is a Death Doula and Consultant who provides coaching and planning services for the next stage in ones journey. She is a wealth of knowledge and experience in this field.
We meet at the Mills Building behind the Jefferson Unitarian Church at 14350 West 32nd Ave, Golden, 80401 (we have no affiliation with church)
Sign up to attend at www.meetup.com/jeffcohumanists/ or email us at deathcafe@jeffersonhumanists.org.
We’re pleased to continue our in person monthly meetings, and can be watched via Zoom with lively presentations in a variety of subjects. In recent months, we have learned about solar and wind power, mathematics, food safety, reproductive rights, vaccinations, and Fake News.
In addition to the monthly meetings you can connect with a monthly book group, a movie group, and other Meetups from our calendar.
Your ideas and your energy are needed. You will find something to love about the Jefferson Humanist Chapter, just as many others have.
