JH Movie Night, 1st Anniversary – Dances with Wolves – Nov. 8, 2019
When: Friday, November 8, 2019, 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Where: Jefferson Unitarian Church, 14350 W 32nd Ave · Golden.. How to find us: From I70, take the Youngfield/32nd Ave. Exit and go west on 32nd for about a mile, just past the roundabout on the left. We will be meeting in the JUC Main Building, Room R/7. Use the front entrance.
Note: Movie Night is now the second Friday of the month in the main building at room R/7 as well as an earlier time.
Please join us for our special 1st anniversary of the JH Movie Night, where we’ll be showing Dances with Wolves (rated PG-13, run time: 3 hours, 56 minutes). Doors open at 6:00 and the movie starts right at 6:30. Stay for discussion afterward. We will have pizza, cake and drinks to be served for celebration. Donations are accepted. You are more than welcome to bring a comfy chair or cushion.

Movie Description:
A Civil War soldier develops a relationship with a band of Lakota Indians. Attracted by the simplicity of their lifestyle, he chooses to leave his former life behind to be with them. Having observed him, they give the name Dances With Wolves. Soon he is a welcomed member of the tribe and falls in love with a white woman who has been raised in the tribe. Tragedy results when Union soldiers arrive with designs on the land.
