Note: Movie Night is now the second Friday of the month in the main building at room R/7. Please join us for our monthly JH Movie Night, where we’ll be showing Fahrenheit 9/11 (rated R, run time: 2 hours, 3 minutes). Doors open at 6:40 and the movie starts right at 7:00. Stay for discussion afterward. Popcorn, snacks, and drinks will be served. Donations are accepted. You are more than welcome to bring a comfy chair or cushion. The film argues that President George W. Bush and his inner circle used the media to further an agenda that exploited the 9/11 attacks. The close ties of the Saudis to the Bush family, the cynical profiteering of corporations and a political elite beholden to special interests are all cited as elements of a corrupt system.
