When: Saturday, July 13, 2019, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Where: Jefferson County Public Library – Lakewood Library, 10200 West 20th Avenue · Lakewood, CO
In July the Jefferson Humanists’ book group, FROG (Freethinkers Reading Opportunity Group) will discuss “Doughnut Economics: Seven Ways to Think Like a 21st-Century Economist” by Kate Raworth.
“What if it were possible to live well without trashing the planet? Doughnut Economics succinctly captures this tantalising possibility and takes up its challenge. Brimming with creativity, Raworth reclaims economics from the dust of academia and puts it to the service of a better world.”―Tim Jackson, author of Prosperity without Growth
Join us Saturday July 13th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the meeting room at the Lakewood Public Library. The library is located at 10200 W 20th Ave in Lakewood, just 3 blocks West of Kipling. Please feel free to join us even if you haven’t finished the book.
After the meeting we adjourn to Tellers (http://www.tellerstaproom.com ), just a few blocks away, to continue the conversation over a beverage.
RSVP to this Meetup. Email FROG leader, Helena Goldstein at frog@jeffersonhumanists.org with any questions.
We look forward to seeing you there!
