When: Saturday, July 14, 2018, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Where: Jefferson County Public Library – Lakewood Library, 10200 West 20th Avenue, Lakewood, CO
Join the Jefferson Humanists’ book group, FROG (Freethinkers Reading Opportunity Group), for our July book, The Road to Character by David Brooks (www.goodreads.com/book/show/22551809-the-road-to-character) According to Brooks: “I wrote it, to be honest, to save my own soul.” Brooks decided that he had spent “…too much time cultivating what he calls ‘the résumé virtues’ – racking up impressive accomplishments – and too little on ‘the eulogy virtues’, the character strengths for which we’d like to be remembered.”
We will be meeting Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the meeting room at the Lakewood Library at 10200 W. 20th. After the meeting, please join us at Tellers Tap House at 20th and Youngfield to continue the discussion over a beverage.
Email Helena Goldstein (FROG@jeffersonhumanists.org) with any questions.
