From I70 take the Youngfield/32nd Ave exit, and go about a mile west on 32nd Ave, on the left. Usually, we’ll meet in the Mills Building south of the main church.
This month’s event will include several segments. More humanist video shorts featuring top names in the secular movement will be shown with discussions after each one.
We’ll also do one of our semi-regular segments called Journey to Humanism where 2 or three people get exactly 5 minutes to tell their story of how they discovered Humanism, also known as a deconversion story. Did the journey start with a religious background or not? This always provokes a lot of discussions.
In October, we’ll try out a new segment called Socrates Cafe, where some of the very most controversial subjects are discussed.
