Join the Jefferson Humanists’ book group, FROG (Freethinkers Reading Opportunity Group), for our January reading topic, The Enlightenment. Read any book on the Age of Enlightenment (history, biography, book written during the Enlightenment, etc.) and come ready to share with the group. (You can also watch a documentary or movie on the Enlightenment.) How did the Enlightenment change civilization? What did we gain? What have we lost from those forward-thinking ideals? What would enlightenment thinkers think about our current civilization? Contact Matthew Elisha ( mrelisha@msn.com ) with any questions.
